We are going with the same basic rules from last year, which is the combination of season long confidence, high weekends and survivor in one pool.  There will be no loser pot for the lowest score.  If you're new this year, there's nothing to it and we'll help you get in the flow.

Unlike last year, we'll be using Yahoo to manage the picks.  Click the button at the bottom of  any screen, "Make Weekly Picks"

Basic rules:
1.    Each week, pick the winner of every game (no spread).
2.    Rank each game with a unique confidence level of 16-1 or 16-4, depending on the total number of games on the weekend schedule.
3.    Each game will have a confidence number and no number can be duplicated.
4.    The 16 point game for the week counts as a "bonus" game and if the team wins, double the points in the total (32).  If the team loses, subtract the confidence level points from the score (-16).
5.    Each bonus team can only be picked once, if someone picks the Saints with 16 on week 1, they cannot use the Saints again as the highest pick for the rest of the season.
6.    If the bonus team picked wins, add the confidence points to the total score (152 is the maximum number of points in a 16 game week).
7.    The person with the highest score each week is the weekend winner (ties all get credit for a weekend win).
8.    Each person's lowest individual weekly score for the season will be dropped when calculating the point total.
9.    If a game ends in a tie, that counts as a loss to your score, if you have 16 on a game that ties, you get a bonus loss and -16 (minus 16), any other game will score as a 0.
10.    Any game that is cancelled or not played (virus, riots, protests or wildfires, etc.) will count as 0. A Bonus pick will count as a bonus loss, but not get the minus 16. If the game is replayed, it will count to the week it belongs.

Unpicked games:
1.    If a player misses a week, they will simply get 0 points for the week.
2.    If a player doesn't pick games, they can still pick games that haven't kicked off.  However, they must pick the games with 16, 15, 14, etc.  The 16 point game will still be the bonus.
3.    If the same bonus team is picked twice in different weeks, it will be an automatic loss on that game (regardless if the team wins).  This is -16 points to the total.
4.    An overall negative score is possible.

Weekly games:
1.    Any game played on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Monday will count for the week that the NFL counts them in.
2.    Picks for games on Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday must be made prior to kickoff.
3.    The site locks at kick-off at the start of the early games on Sunday.  Late picks must be submitted through email and will only count if received prior to kickoff of any single game.
